Broadvox is a SIP Trunking provider that launched in 2001 as a wholesale carrier for services over a domestic VoIP network. In 2003, Broadvox began offering SIP origination and termination, which increased the companies quality of the voice transmission and expanded service offerings. In 2007, Broadvox added retail SIP Trunking to its product offerings for SMB, enterprise and carrier customers. Two office locations serve the growing VoIP/SIP Trunking business needs and care for its expanding customer base. Broadvox certifies its interoperability with OEMs of IP PBXs, IADs and routers.

In October 2009, Documents were released by the FCC regarding Google Voice and details pertaining to growth and expansion of Google's Voice Product. Details also included network operations which listed Broadvox and other SIP Trunking Companies that help Google Voice infrastructure[1]
January 17, 2011: Broadvox announces acquisition of Cypress Communications. Broadvox Announced the merger (later clarified as an acquisition)[2] of Atlanta Based Unified Communications provider Cypress Communications.[3] The combined company will maintain its HQ in Dallas and has approximately 250 employees with revenues in excess of $100 Million dollars.[3]
In Cleveland, Ohio, Broadvox offices are located on Euclid Avenue near the Theatre District in the historic downtown area. As part of the Broadvox network, the offices in Cleveland house the Broadvox Network Operations Center (NOC) as well as Customer Service, Provisioning, Engineering, Accounting and Billing Departments.
Dallas, Texas is the home of Broadvox Corporate Headquarters. Located in the INFOMART building near downtown, the office suite contains the largest super PoPs and data center. Broadvox Marketing, Channel and Direct sales, Engineering, R&D and Event Management are also based in this location.
